Day 1 — Arrive Cairns • Esplanade & trip set-up
Private pickup and check-in support, then a gentle Cairns orientation drive.
We confirm driving loops, rest stops, and optional upgrades (reef day / skyrail / cultural visit).
Afternoon at leisure: Esplanade walk, lagoon time and easy local dining.
Evening is kept relaxed to prepare for the rainforest road days.
Overnight in Cairns.

Day 2 — Cairns to Daintree • Rainforest boardwalks
Drive north along the coastal route with scenic lookouts and short stops.
Enter the Daintree region for boardwalk strolls and rainforest viewpoints.
Flexible time for river crossings and local interpretive points based on conditions.
Late afternoon settle-in and unwind in the rainforest/coast atmosphere.
Overnight in the Daintree/Cape Tribulation area.

Day 3 — Cape Tribulation day • Beaches + rainforest edge
A full day to explore Cape Tribulation at an unhurried pace.
Choose 2–3 short walks for viewpoints, beaches and rainforest edges (weather-permitting).
Optional: guided river cruise for wildlife spotting if operating.
Return for sunset downtime and a quiet tropical evening.
Overnight in the Daintree/Cape Tribulation area.

Day 4 — Daintree to Atherton Tablelands • Waterfalls & crater lakes
Drive inland to the cooler Tablelands with comfort breaks along the way.
Visit a waterfall circuit and a crater-lake viewpoint for easy, photogenic stops.
Add farm-gate tasting stops depending on interest and timing (seasonal).
Evening at leisure in the Tablelands with a slower, small-town feel.
Overnight in the Atherton/Tablelands area.

Day 5 — Tablelands to Undara/Outback region • Lava landscapes
Head west towards the outback edge — the scenery shifts from green to open country.
Arrive near Undara region and check in; rest up before optional twilight experiences.
Optional: guided lava tube experience depending on operating days and availability.
Keep the evening calm; outback nights are about stargazing and silence.
Overnight in the Undara/outback area.

Day 6 — Outback to Cairns • Scenic return
Begin the return drive with planned rest stops and quick photo pull-offs.
Arrive Cairns and enjoy free time for waterfront, shopping or optional reef add-ons.
We keep this day light so you can choose your own pace after the longer road stretch.
Evening open for a farewell dinner and last-night city stroll.
Overnight in Cairns.

Day 7 — Depart Cairns • Wrap & onward travel
Easy morning depending on flight time; last-minute café and lagoon time if desired.
Private airport transfer with buffer for check-out and road conditions.
Tour recap: highlights, best seasons to return, and suggested extensions (reef / islands).
Drop-off for departure and end of services.
Journey concludes smoothly and on schedule.
