Day 1 — Arrive Darwin • Set-up & city unwind

Day 2 — Darwin to Kakadu region • Wetlands & lookouts
Depart for Kakadu with planned breaks and a steady, comfortable pace.
Stop at signature lookouts and interpretive boardwalks for wetlands views.
Optional cruise add-on can be fitted if schedules align.
Arrive and settle in for a quiet evening outside the city.
Overnight in Kakadu/Jabiru area.

Day 3 — Kakadu depth day • Landscapes + short walks
A full day to explore Kakadu’s variety with flexible routing based on access.
Choose a mix of viewpoints and short walks; longer hikes only if conditions suit.
Plenty of photo time and unhurried pacing; we avoid over-packing the day.
Late afternoon downtime to recharge for the next leg.

Day 4 — Kakadu to Katherine • Nitmiluk precinct
Drive south towards Katherine with outback roadhouse stops on the way.
Arrive and explore the Nitmiluk precinct for easy viewpoints and river-edge time.
Optional Katherine Gorge cruise can be added depending on operating days.
Evening is calm; we keep energy for the longer highway days ahead.
Overnight in Katherine.

Day 5 — Katherine to Mataranka • Thermal pools reset
Shorter drive day to Mataranka region — perfect to slow down mid-route.
Soak time at thermal pools (season and access permitting) with relaxed pacing.
Easy walks and picnic-style stops; no rush and plenty of downtime.
Afternoon at leisure to rest and recharge.
Overnight near Mataranka/Katherine region.

Day 6 — Mataranka to Tennant Creek • Outback highway day
Begin the outback highway run with structured rest and fuel stops.
We keep timing realistic — long distances but comfortable pacing.
Arrive Tennant Creek area and settle in for a quiet night.
Evening is for rest, hydration and next-day readiness.
Overnight in Tennant Creek.

Day 7 — Tennant Creek to Alice Springs • Red Centre arrival
Continue south through classic open-country landscapes with planned breaks.
Arrive Alice Springs and check in; light orientation around town.
Optional: sunset lookout time if arrival timing is good.
Evening is open for a relaxed dinner and early night.
Overnight in Alice Springs.

Day 8 — Alice Springs region day • Culture & landscapes
A flexible day for Alice Springs highlights — choose heritage, art and viewpoints.
Short walks and scenic stops are planned for comfort in warmer conditions.
Free time is built in so the day feels curated, not crowded.
Operational check-in to confirm Uluru routing and timings.
Overnight in Alice Springs.

Day 9 — Alice Springs to Kings Canyon area • Scenic drives
Drive towards Kings Canyon region with comfort breaks and photo stops.
Arrive and settle in; optional sunset lookout depending on time and conditions.
We keep the evening calm so you’re fresh for the next day’s walk options.
Dinner planning and rest under the outback sky.
Overnight near Kings Canyon/Watarrka area.

Day 10 — Kings Canyon to Uluru • Canyon walk + Uluru sunset
Morning offers the option for a rim walk or shorter walk depending on fitness and heat.
After the walk, continue towards Uluru with realistic transit timing and breaks.
Arrive Uluru region and settle in; prep for sunset viewing.
Sunset time is reserved to experience the colour shifts at Uluru.
Overnight in Uluru/Yulara area.

Day 11 — Uluru & Kata Tjuta day • Icons at a calm pace
Sunrise option followed by a comfortable, flexible day around the iconic sites.
Choose easy walks and viewpoints with plenty of rest and hydration stops.
Optional: cultural experiences can be added where available and appropriate.
Evening at leisure for a final Red Centre night.
Overnight in Uluru/Yulara area.

Day 12 — Depart • Conclude the grand road voyage
Private transfer to the airport (or routing back to Alice if your flight plan requires).
Final recap of your Top End to Red Centre traverse and best seasons to return.
Assistance with timing, check-in and luggage planning for onward travel.
Tour wrap and operations sign-off.
Drop-off and end of services.
