Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome on board with JainVoyagers Group. Arrive Auckland, private pickup and check-in. Light city orientation drive and harbour viewpoints. Evening free with vetted vegetarian/Jain options and a short briefing for the road section ahead.
Day 2: Drive to Waitomo with comfort breaks. Optional glowworm caves visit (pre-book) or choose an easy nature walk and countryside viewpoints. Continue to Rotorua and settle in; evening at leisure.
Day 3: Rotorua geothermal day: steaming valleys, mud pools, lakeside drives and short boardwalk walks. Keep a flexible pace with downtime for cafés, markets or a spa soak (optional).
Day 4: Rotorua to Taupō: scenic lake routes and waterfall stops. Enjoy a relaxed Taupō afternoon — lakefront promenade, viewpoints and free time. Dinner window planned for veg/Jain-friendly dining.
Day 5: Volcano viewpoints day: drive towards Tongariro National Park for iconic landscapes and photo stops (weather-dependent). Choose a short easy walk or viewpoint-only plan, then return to Taupō to rest.
Day 6: Drive to Wellington via the central plateau with planned breaks. Arrive and explore the waterfront, Cuba Street vibe and city lookouts. Optional Te Papa Museum or cable car depending on timing.
