Day 4 — Franz Josef premium glacier day: Choose your preferred glacier interaction: premium guided options or optional helicopter scenic experiences where conditions allow. Time is reserved for relaxation, warm pools and refined dining. The plan avoids rushed timing and includes buffers for weather changes. Evening is designed for comfort and recovery.

Day 5 — Franz Josef → Hokitika/Greymouth (coastal luxury): Drive the West Coast with coastal viewpoints and a curated lunch stop. Arrive with time for beach walks, local artisan stops and sunset timing at the Tasman Sea. The day is intentionally lighter to balance the trip. Enjoy a calm night before returning inland.
