Day 4: Unzen to Kumamoto • Ferry or coastal routing

Choose the best routing: ferry link (seasonal schedules) or coastal drive. Arrive Kumamoto for castle vicinity strolls and market streets. Evening free for shopping arcades and relaxed dining. Overnight in Kumamoto.

Day 5: Kumamoto to Aso • Highlands and lookouts

Day 6: Aso to Beppu/Yufuin • Onsen valley day
