Day 1: Auckland Arrival & City Ease-In

Day 2: Auckland → Rotorua
Drive south through the Waikato with planned comfort stops and scenic farm country.
Arrive Rotorua for geothermal parks and easy lakeside viewpoints.
Optional Māori cultural experience can be fitted based on show timings.

Day 3: Rotorua → Wellington
Depart for Wellington with a balanced road pace and short sightseeing breaks en route.
Arrive Wellington for a waterfront orientation and café time in the creative precincts.

Day 4: Wellington → Picton Ferry → Nelson
Morning transfer to the ferry terminal; sail across Cook Strait with scenic deck time.
Arrive Picton and continue the coastal drive toward Nelson with relaxed stopovers.

Day 5: Nelson / Abel Tasman Coastal Day
Spend the day with coastal scenery — beaches, short walks and photo stops (activity chosen by time and season).

Return to Nelson for a relaxed evening at leisure.

Day 6: Nelson → Christchurch (Scenic Cross-Island Drive)
Drive across the island with dramatic changes in scenery and planned comfort breaks.
Arrive Christchurch for a short orientation and restful evening.
This day is designed to be efficient while still offering quality viewpoints.
Overnight in Christchurch.

Day 7: Christchurch → Tekapo / Mt Cook Region
Head into lake country with turquoise viewpoints and short easy walks.
Arrive Tekapo/Mt Cook region for iconic landscapes and photo stops.
Optional stargazing session can be suggested based on clear-sky conditions.
Overnight in the Tekapo/Mt Cook area.

Day 8: Tekapo → Queenstown via Wanaka
Drive through big-view passes with stops at Wanaka lakefront and viewpoints.
Arrive Queenstown for an orientation of the adventure hub and dining streets.
Evening at leisure with optional skyline lookout suggestions.
Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 9: Queenstown → Milford Sound Day Trip / Departure Handover
Early road trip to Milford with scenic stops; cruise option available (weather permitting).
Return to Queenstown for final shopping and a calm wrap-up of the program.
Transfer to airport or continue onward as per partner booking flow.
