Day 1 — Arrive Darwin • Family set-up • Waterfront downtime
Private pickup and easy check-in support, then a short orientation drive around Darwin.
Family briefing: snack stops, comfort breaks, swim times and realistic driving windows.
Afternoon at leisure at the waterfront precinct and open spaces for kids to unwind.
Evening is kept early and relaxed with a family dinner window.
Overnight in Darwin.

Day 2 — Darwin to Kakadu • Lookouts & boardwalks
Depart for Kakadu with planned breaks and comfortable drive timing for families.
Stop at signature lookouts and easy boardwalks for wildlife spotting from safe platforms.
Picnic-style lunch break and shaded rest time are built into the middle of the day.
Arrive and settle in early to keep the evening calm for kids.
Overnight in Kakadu/Jabiru area.

Day 3 — Kakadu family day • Easy walks & viewpoints
A full day in Kakadu with a light schedule: choose 2–3 key family-friendly stops only.
Short walks, viewpoints and photo moments with plenty of rest and water breaks.
Optional wetlands cruise can be added if it suits the family schedule (add-on).
Return for a calm evening and early rest.
Overnight in Kakadu/Jabiru area.

Day 4 — Kakadu to Katherine • Outback road day
Drive south towards Katherine with roadhouse stops and frequent comfort breaks.
Arrive Nitmiluk precinct for gentle viewpoints and easy exploration.
Optional gorge cruise upgrade can be arranged depending on operating days (add-on).
Evening is relaxed with family dinner timing and early night.
Overnight in Katherine.

Day 5 — Katherine to Darwin • Return with breaks
Return drive to Darwin with planned snack stops and photo pull-offs.
Arrive with time for pool downtime and a relaxed afternoon.
We keep the schedule light so children stay fresh for Litchfield tomorrow.
Evening open for waterfront dinner and early rest.
Overnight in Darwin.

Day 6 — Litchfield • Waterfalls, termite mounds & swim time
Day trip to Litchfield with family-friendly short walks and shaded rest windows.
Visit termite mounds, waterfall circuits and swim spots (season-permitting).
Picnic-style lunch stop and flexible timing based on weather and kid energy.
Return by evening with buffer time and a calm dinner window.
Overnight in Darwin.

Day 7 — Depart Darwin • Wrap & onward travel
Slow morning for breakfast and last-minute shopping if flights allow.
Private airport transfer with buffer time for smooth family travel.
Tour recap and suggested next family routes across Australia’s north.
Drop-off for departure and end of services.
